It encourages children’ natural rhythm and musicality.

Modern Theatre
Modern dance is a rhythmical dance style that originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world.
The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility.
It is a highly energetic style and is something you would expect to see on the West End stage!
We follow the ISTD syllabus and offer examinations throughout the grades & vocational level.
Contemporary Dance
Contemporary Dance stems from the core, or torso, of the body and uses elements of contract, release, spiral, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation.
This evolving style has fast become one of the most dominant genres for dancers throughout the world.
